Not a 2026 result — historical context only
No 2026 ballots have been counted. For comparison only, here is the last completed Vancouver general election: on October 15, 2022, incumbent-to-be Ken Sim (ABC) was declared the winner of that 2022 mayoral race with 85,732 votes (49.99% of valid mayoral votes), ahead of 2022 runner-up Kennedy Stewart (49,593 votes, 28.92%) and 2022 third-place finisher Colleen Hardwick (16,769 votes, 9.78%). The City reported roughly 171,494 ballots cast citywide in that 2022 election. These 2022 figures — compiled from election-result tables citing City of Vancouver declarations — are four-year-old history, not a projection or forecast for the October 17, 2026 election.
Election-night figures will be labelled preliminary until the Chief Election Officer's official declaration. Updates will record the time, number of voting places reporting, source link and whether recount or judicial-review information has been announced. Candidate multi-vote contests (Council and Park Board) will never be normalized as though each voter cast only one vote.
